To begin with, you have to understand what an automated collection is. For the most part, it is a collection that allows you to set specific conditions to include matching products automatically. The collection will always update to include products which meet all these conditions and contain the same products unless you add or remove products as you like.

You can create a manual collection if you want to choose specific products for a collection. The specific products that you choose will be included in a manual collection.

However, you cannot change an automatic collection to a manual collection. Instead, you can create a new manual collection and add a tag to the products that you want. Then you can set that tag as a condition in your a new automated collection you have created. Therefore, you can easily delete the original manual collection after you create the automated collection.

Step 1: Go to Collections section

Go to Products > Collections from your Shopify admin.

Step 1: Go to Products > Collections from the Shopify app.
Step 2: Tap the + button.
Step 3: Fill in a title and description for the collection.
Step 4: (Optional) Upload an image for the collection by tapping the image icon.

Step 6: (Optional) Customize sales channels that the collection will be visible by tapping Sales channels.
