On average, the first five results displayed on the search results page collectively garner approximately 67.60% of all clicks when the search is conducted on a desktop device. Among these, the top result reigns supreme, capturing the lion’s share at 31.24% of all clicks.

In stark contrast, results ranked between positions 6 to 10 receive a notably smaller share, accounting for only 3.73% of the total clicks. Consequently, 71.33% of all clicks for a search query are concentrated on the first page of results, underlining the importance of securing a prominent position in Google’s search rankings.
