Every theme in the Shopify Theme Store have documentation, and you can find it easily. With free themes, you can view their details by going to the Free themes section which is in the Themes section, and click on the name of the free themes that you want to view.

How to view paid themes on Shopify

Step 1: Choose Themes

Go to your Shopify admin, choose the Themes section which is in the Online Store section.

Scroll down to the More themes area, there is a list which includes all the themes that you have added. Click on the Customize button of the theme that you want to view its documentation.

In the toolbar on the left-hand side, click the Theme settings.

Step 4: Read theme’s documentation

To read the theme’s documentation, click on the Read documentation button which is at the bottom of that toolbar.

  • Step 1: Tap store Open your Shopify app, then tap Store.

  • Step 2: Select Online Store Scroll down to the Sales channels section. In this section, select Online Store.

  • Step 3: Choose Manage themes At the third step, you need to choose Manage themes.

  • Step 4: Tap Customize In this screen, you will see a list which includes all the themes you have added. Find the one that you want to view its documentation and tap on the Customize button.

  • Step 5: Choose Theme setting On the Preview screen, you can choose Theme settings.

  • Step 6: Tap Read documentation You see a small blue line named Read documentation at the bottom of the toolbar, Tap on it to read its documentation.
