In this section, I’ll walk you through the whole process of how to add my Shopify products to TikTok Shop. We’ll start from scratch and cover everything: creating accounts, linking platforms, and syncing your products. 

Step 1: Create your TikTok Shop in Seller Center

Head to the TikTok Seller Center, select your region, and sign up using your email. I suggest using the same email for all platforms, making the connections smoother.

Once logged in, click “Start Selling.” Choose your business type (sole proprietor, corporation, or partnership). Then fill in:

  • Your legal name
  • Business information
  • Phone number
  • Shop name and category
  • And upload a logo if you’d like

Next, please verify your identity and upload the required documents within 48 hours. If anything is missing, they’ll email you to request re-uploading. While waiting, you can already upload your W-9 form (for tax purposes) and set your shipping and return policies.

To avoid missing out, take a few minutes to sign up for TikTok Business Center and create your Ads Manager account.  It’ll save you time later, especially if you plan to run paid campaigns.

Step 3: Add a product to your Shopify store

Before syncing, ensure you’ve already created products in Shopify.
In your Shopify dashboard, navigate to Products > Add Product, then enter all essential details — including the title, description, pricing, images, and inventory.
